MacLeod uses his considerable experience as a high school geography teacher to offer classroom materials, links to other websites, shareware, and more! GLOBE - International Hands-On Science and Education Be a part of a global scientific project! For this site, students all over the world gather environmental data at or near their schools and then send it to the GLOBE network via the Internet. Then scientists use the data in their research, and the data is used to make images for daily display on the web. Helping Your Child Learn Geography This site includes lots of activities that parents and teachers can use to help children learn more about geography. The Earth Times According to this site, this is the leading independent international nonpartisan newspaper on the environment and sustainable development. It is updated daily on the web, with news from all over the world. Especially useful for students and teachers. Rulers Did you know that Switzerland gets a new president every year? This site provides information about the rulers of every currently existing country and territory. There's also a daily chronicle of top world events since 1996.
